Bas roR
Bas roR
This former guitar hero's interest in electronic music started in the early 90's. Inspired by the cassettes with only beautiful B side tracks of dance records he got from his friend Paul du Lac, Bas started buying vinyl.
Strongly drawn towards warm and epic sounds his collection grew steadily with selections from Detroit techno, house, IDM and ambient.
In 2000 he saw a chance to practice mixing his records during the early evening hours at the Bootleg DJ Cafe. The next month he was added to the list of resident DJ's.
The love for electronic music continued with the production of it. With three close friends he created an electronic group called 'Data Leak' and did numerous live shows. Collaborating with DJ T!M as 'Kubra' brought the first releases. Meanwhile working on his own tracks and performing them live until in 2009 he finally released his first solo EP.
The latest project 'Relict' has just been released, a collaboration with Paul du Lac that links back to those B side cassettes.
